Why Vicholan exists
Indian families arranging marriages for children abroad face a specific problem: there's no one in Canada they trust to meet the match in person.
Video calls show what someone wants to show. A trusted family friend would tell you the truth — but you don't have one in Canada.
Vicholan is that trusted friend. We meet the prospective match openly, with their consent, observe genuinely, and tell you what we'd tell our own family.
We're not detectives. We're not magicians. We don't make promises we can't keep. We just show up, pay attention, and give you the full picture so your family can decide.
We're starting small in Southern Ontario — the GTA, Hamilton, Kitchener-Waterloo, Niagara, and nearby cities — and doing this well before expanding. How we work
Consent first, always
We never approach a match without their knowledge. Every visit is open and agreed to. This protects them — and makes our report worth reading.
Honest over comfortable
We tell you what we observed, not what you want to hear. A good report includes the uncomfortable things too.
Observation, not investigation
We meet people in public settings and note what's naturally visible. We don't dig through records, hack accounts, or surveil.
Confidentiality both ways
Your family's identity and the match's information are handled with the same discretion we'd expect for our own family.
